Window and door scantling
We are a recognised manufacturer of window and door scantling, which is the basic material used in window and door joinery. It is valued for its properties (far superior to unprocessed wood) responsible for the strength of the products and their resistance to deformation. We manufacture our scantling mainly from pine wood. At the customer’s request, we are also able to produce eucalyptus and larch scantling.
We use wood raw material with a moisture content of 12% ±2%, which is always inspected first. From the very beginning of the production of our products, we take care to ensure their highest possible quality. As standard, the scantlings we manufacture consist of several layers bonded using waterproof adhesive DIN EN 204 D4. We are open to various customer requirements and needs – in the case of special expectations, we use EPI class adhesive. Before we begin bonding all layers together, each of them is very carefully planed. The proper smoothness of the surface is extremely important during the gluing process and translates into the high quality of the final product.
In addition to window and door scantling in standard dimensions, we also offer British, French, Scandinavian, and Italian profiles. We are able to manufacture scantling according to the customer’s detailed guidelines, including roof windows and other glued elements. In the case of window and door scantling, we use gluing methods recognised on domestic and foreign markets (layer or block gluing) as well as veneering, including with elements of other wood species or wood-based materials. At the same time, we guarantee the highest quality of the entire production process of our scantling, which consists above all of: appropriate conditions in the production hall, precise planing of the elements subsequently subjected to gluing, and constant control of the scantling manufacturing process (especially gluing time, humidity, air temperature in the production hall, and pressure on the presses).
The offered window and door scantling can be manufactured from FSC® certified wood - ask about certified products! As we support responsible forest management worldwide, the raw materials we use come exclusively from controlled sources.
