L- and T-shaped scantling
Our proprietary technology significantly modifies the construction process of window scantling and thus makes it possible to manufacture a product that is improved in terms of production technology, shape, and characteristics. Standard window scantling on the Polish market is produced in a rectangular cross-section, which is then profiled by the window manufacturer. Such a solution generates significant material losses, which are eliminated in our product.
L- and T-profile scantlings are a significantly improved product compared to those currently manufactured in domestic production, because due to their innovative design they provide the customer with considerably more efficient use of raw material. The use of „L” and „T” scantlings in the production of windows and doors makes it possible to reduce material losses by nearly 16% compared to the currently available rectangular-cross-section scantling on the market. This means that by purchasing rectangular scantling, the window manufacturer actually uses a maximum of 84% of the purchased raw material. In the case of the corresponding „L” and „T” profile scantling, this value will be much closer to 100%.
In standard rectangular scantling, during the final profiling process there is a high risk of revealing defects in the wood. In the case of a shape matched to the profile of the window element, all defects are revealed and eliminated at the scantling gluing stage. „L” and „T” profile scantlings contribute to shortening the window production process, as one of the two contour machining operations is eliminated. As a result, production time is shortened and its cost efficiency is improved.
In summary, the unquestionable advantages of L- and T-profile scantlings are therefore raw material savings and eco-innovation, minimising the risk of revealing wood defects during window production, and adaptation to the individual requirements of the customer.
