Automation and robotisation of production processes as an opportunity for transforming a company towards Industry 4.0

Richd. Anders Polska Sp. z o.o. is implementing a project entitled

Measure 1.2 Automation and robotisation in SMEs

The project aims to introduce innovative technological solutions that respond to the needs of a dynamically developing market and the growing customer demand for product personalisation and the efficiency of production processes.

The above objectives will be achieved through the purchase of an industrial palletising robot and intangible assets in the form of specialised dedicated production software.

The process innovations implemented in the company will bring direct benefits both to the company itself and to its employees, business partners, customers, and the local community. Each of these groups will gain specific benefits related to efficiency, safety, savings, and sustainable development, which makes investment in automation profitable on many levels.

The objective of the project is not only to optimise the existing production processes, but also to increase the company’s competitiveness and revenue growth through production robotisation and adaptation to Industry 4.0 standards. The project has been developed with full consistency with the assumptions of the company’s transformation roadmap, while also taking into account the latest trends and recommendations for the industry.

As part of the project, the introduction of a new product has been planned: a glued panel made of lamellas or pieces with widths arranged in a variable pattern (narrow/wide in various combinations) – in oak, eucalyptus, and pine.

Project Value (total cost of the Project):

The total value of the Project is PLN 2,466,396.00,
The total value of eligible Project expenditure is PLN 2,005,200.00

Amount of the European Funds contribution:

The amount of funding for eligible costs under de minimis aid is PLN 19,550.00
The amount of funding for eligible costs under regional investment aid is PLN 1,189,320.00
